Jay is passionate about travel. He turned that passion into a 30+ year successful agency, Vista Travel. He founded the company in 1982 in Cambridge Massachusetts where its corporate headquarters remains. Today Vista is the largest independent travel agency in the Cambridge area servicing individuals to multi-national companies across North America.
Cathy Pantazopoulos
Vice President of Operations
Catherine is a seasoned expert in the world of business travel, with over 35 years of experience in operations and account management. She joined Vista Travel in 1997. “Her professional highlights began with a successful 8 years as the New England Regional Director for Thomas Cook. Next, she accepted an onsite Travel Manager position with Putnam Investments, before moving onto the same role again with Gillette Consumer Products.
Katharine Eckatdt
Senior Accounting Executive
Katharina has been working with Vista Travel for more than 17 years as our reporting tools and business analytics guru. She is originally from Germany, where she earned her degree in Business Administration for Tourism. In 2005, she returned to Germany, yet works remotely and successfully manages all of Vista Travel’s accounting and reporting needs.
Joe Spector
Technology and Training Manager
Joe began his career in the travel industry in 1976 as a corporate travel agent. In 1977 he was among the first agents in the Boston area to be trained in our booking system, SABRE. He’s continued his career as a corporate travel agent while concentrating on training other agents in SABRE and supportive technologies. He brought his expertise to Vista in 2014. In his personal time, he has been involved in alternative healing techniques and meditation training. He currently lives in the Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts.
